GENTLE COUNTRYSIDE

The rural countryside is a low stress place to take photographs. Typically easy to get to, avaible parking, with strolls on good paths or roads mean that it's just easier to get to a place when you expect it to have the optimal lighting. I think of those photography trips as "gentle". The challenge is to make a photograph that captures the imagination when often the subject is a familiar scene. Colour and texture, lead in lines and a strong graphic element all help.
